O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.] Alleging that the petitioner's minor daughter, by name, Mathumitha, aged about 16 years, found missing and alleging that the 4th respondent kidnapped the minor girl, the petitioner has given a complaint before the 3rd respondent Police. Since, no action has been taken, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed. 1/3
2. Earlier, on 09.09.2021, the respondent police secured the detenue and produced before this Court and she wants to go with the petitioner / mother. Hence, she was set at liberty and allowed to go with her mother / petitioner.
3. The petitioner alleged that the fourth respondent, who kidnapped the girl, threatening the petitioner and her family members and criminally intimidated, inspite of the complaint given before the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Adhiramapattinam, Thanjavur District, no action has been taken. Hence, the Inspector of Police, Adhiramapattinam Police Station, was directed to appear before this Court today.
4. Accordingly, the Investigation Officer appeared before this Court and submitted that he got a complaint from the petitioner and based on that CSR has been registered and they are continuing the investigation and will take further action.
5. Recording the above submission and already the detenue secured and handed over to the petitioner / mother, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
