Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal Program perform by "Madurai Kavinaya" in "Alaya Urhava Vizha" scheduled to be held on 12.02.2017 at Arulmigu Sri Karuppanasamy and Pandi Muneeswarar Thirukovil at Pandikovil 3rd street, Sammattipuram, Madurai, by considering the petitioner's representation 01.02.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal on 12.02.2017 in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is represented on the side of the respondents that in pursuance of representation dated 01.02.2017, the permission sought therein has been rejected. Under the said circumstances the relief sought in the writ petition cannot be granted and therefore the same deserves to be dismissed.
