RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time granted in Crl.OP(MD)No.6790 of 2019 dated 12.06.2019 to deposit the amount and surrender before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Kumbakonam for the period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.JOTHIBASU, Advocate for the petitioner and of Ms. M.ANANTHA DEVI, GOVERNMENT ADVOCATE (CRL.SIDE) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this court in CRL OP(MD) No.6790 of 2019, dated 12/06/2019, to deposit the amount and surrender before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Kumbakonam for the period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.

2. This Court by the order dated 12.06.2019 in Crl.O.P(MD) No. 6790 of 2019 has directed each of the petitioners to deposit a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- before the concerned magistrate and the petitioners shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten thousand only) within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order . Since they could not deposit the said amount within the stipulated time, the petitioners have filed the present petition seeking extension of time. learned counsel for the petitioners , this Court by the order dated 11.07.2019 extended the time for depositing the said amount till 17.07.2019.

3. Today (18.07.2019) this petition has been posted for reporting compliance, but today the learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners could not comply with the said condition, even within the period of extended time.

4. Hence this petition is dismissed.
