ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Crime No.40 of 2023, on the file of the inspector of Police, Paramakudi Taluk Police Station, Ramanathapuram District and quash the same as illegal.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that after completing the investigation, the first respondent has filed the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi on 14.06.2023 and it has not been taken on file so far.

3. Since final report was filed, this petition has become infructuous. There shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi, to process the final report as per the rules within a prescribed time and the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the final report, if so advised.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 19.06.2023 NCC :
