This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to provide Police protection, at the time of Sunday prayer from 09.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. to the followers of the Fellowship of Blessed Hope Churches, Anandi Villa, Kodaikanal by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2017.

2. Heard both sides.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that there is a dispute between two groups with regard to conducting prayer in the Blessed Hope Churches, Anandi Villa, Kodaikanal. Hence, the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

made a representation to the respondents on 01.02.2017, seeking the Police protection. Since no action was taken by the respondents, the petitioner has filed this present Writ Petition. 4.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents on instructions, submitted that in view of the dispute between two groups, a Peace Committee meeting has been conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodaikanal on 04.02.2017 and both the parties appeared in the Peace Committee meeting and stated that they were settled the dispute between themselves. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that both the parties have settled their dispute between themselves, no further order is required to be passed in this Writ Petition.
