Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct Aaadal Paadal Programme in Arulmigu Sri Pattathurai Swamy Temple Festival at M.Kurumbapatti, Mallanampatti, Batlagundu Post, Dindigul District as per the schedule dated 08.02.2017 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 31.01.2017 the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent, but the same has not been considered and therefore this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

costs and the respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 31.01.2017 and dispose of the same immediately.
