CORAM

THE HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE G.R.SWAMINATHAN and W.M.P.(MD)No.12311 of 2024 V.Meenal ... Petitioner Vs.

1.Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakottai, Sivagangai District.

2.N.Devadoss ... Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for records of the impugned order in Na.Ka.A1/8955/2023 dated 02.05.2024 issued by 1st Respondent and quash the same and grant.

For Petitioner : Mr.B.Saravanan Senior Counsel for Mr.RM.Arun Swaminathan For Respondents : Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh Additional Government Pleader for R1 1/4

ORDER

The impugned notice is pursuant to the direction given in W.P.(MD)No. 28 of 2024 dated 12.01.2024. The petitioner herein was shown as 5th respondent in the said writ petition.

2. The learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner pointed out that the petitioner was not put on notice before passing the order in the aforesaid writ petition. Be that as it may, what is under challenge is a mere notice. That by itself does not affect the petitioner's rights. The petitioner can place all other contentions before the RDO, Devakottai. After the final order is passed, if it is adverse to the petitioner's interest, the petitioner can very well come before this Court urging all the contentions now raised before this Court. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
