These petitions have been filed, seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue fresh notification for leasing out Shop Nos.2, 3 and 6 in JVVT Commercial Complex, Melattoor Town Panchayat, Melattoor, Thanjavur District.

2. When these matters are taken up for hearing, it is represented by the respondents that they are going to issue a fresh notification for auction in respect of the shops in question within two months.

3. In view of the above submission, these petitions are disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioners to participate in

the auction. It is made clear that the petitioners shall have to pay the monthly rent regularly till finalization of the auction and upon declaration of the tender, in the event of the petitioners succeeding in the auction, they shall comply with the conditions stipulated therein, as otherwise, they shall immediately hand over the vacant possession of the shops to the respondents. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
