ORDER

The petitioner is working as a Driver in the respondent department. He was implicated in a criminal case. He was suspended from service on 18.05.2017. More than 8 months have lapsed.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the occurrence took place in connection with a village festival. This led to registration of the criminal case. The registration of the said criminal case has nothing to do with the discharge of the official duty by the petitioner. Keeping the petitioner under suspension will not serve any purpose.
