ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to depute police officials to give protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and limb based on the complaint dated 12.11.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's daughter, namely Kanimozhi, developed love affair with one Sivanthirajan and they got married. Since they are belonging to different community, the respondents 4 to 8, who are relatives of the petitioner's son-in-law, have threatened the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner and his family. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition for police protection.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for R1 to R3 would submit that based on the complaint of the petitioner, both the parties were called for enquiry and during the enquiry the respondents 4 to 8 have given undertaking stating that they will not interfere in the family of the petitioner and they will not interfere in the marriage between the petitioner's daughter and their son. Recording the same, complaint had been closed. 4.Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
