ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in Spl.S.C.No. 169 of 2025, on the file of the Special Court of Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act Cases, Dindigul, seeking to quash the charge sheet wherein the petitioners are charged with the offences under Sections 5(l), 5(n), 6, 17 of POCSO Act r/w Section 9 and 10 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.

2. The date of birth of the victim girl is 18.01.2008, and she attained majority on 18.01.2026. After attaining majority, she married the first accused on 28.01.2026. The marriage was registered on 19.02.2026 before the SubRegistrar Office, Athoor.

3. Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

4. Today, the victim is present in-person and she acknowledges the fact that she had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet. 2/4

5. Considering the above said facts, charge sheet in Spl.S.C.No.169 of 2025, on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Dindigul, is hereby quashed.
