O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner's daughter, namely, A.Abi, aged about 23 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter, namely, A.Abi, aged about 23 years, went missing from 07.05.2025 and that police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, a case in Sivakasi East Police Station Crime No.331 of 2025
was registered for "woman missing" on 08.05.2025 and the preliminary enquiry revealed that the detenue had a love affair with the fourth respondent and that they are presently residing at Coimbatore.

In the aforesaid circumstances, we direct the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sivakasi Division, Virudhunagar District, to supervise the investigation in Crime No.331 of 2025, pending on the file of the second respondent, and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenue is secured, she shall be produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivakasi, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders.
5. With the above direction, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of.
