Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to give necessary police protection to the petitioner to worship the temple and to conduct the "Kumbabishekam" of the temple namely Sri Nallathankalsamy Kovil, situated in Kodikulam Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District in the light of the petitioner's representation, dated 23.05.2023.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to give necessary police protection to the petitioner to worship the temple and to conduct the "Kumbabishekam" of the temple namely Sri Nallathankalsamy Kovil, situated in Kodikulam Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District in the light of the petitioner's representation, dated 23.05.2023.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would 2/5
submit that the 5th respondent used to go Poojari work in the above said temple making objection regarding the conduct of the Kumbabishekam and that the petitioner has given a representation, dated 23.05.2023. The said representation was transferred to the Thasildar, Usilampatti for convening the Peace Committee Meeting.
3. In view of the above said development, the Thasildar, Usilampatti, Madurai District is suo motu impleaded as 6th respondent in this petition. The petitioner is directed to abide by the resolution to be adopted in the Peace committee Meeting. Let the Peace Committee Meeting be convened by the 6th respondent, within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
