..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records on the file of the second respondent in connection with the impugned order of punishment of reversion issued by him in his proceedings in Se.Mu.Aanai No.9433/A.Pa.2/2014 dated 28.09.2017 and the consequential relieving order issued by the fourth respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.7657/P3/2017-2 dated 13.10.2017 (served on 23.10.2017) and quash both as arbitrary and illegal.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records on the file of the second respondent in connection with the impugned order of punishment of reversion issued by him in his proceedings in Se.Mu.Aanai No.9433/A.Pa.2/2014 dated 28.09.2017 and the consequential https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
relieving order issued by the fourth respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.7657/P3/2017-2 dated 13.10.2017 (served on 23.10.2017) and quash both as arbitrary and illegal. 2.Heard Mr.G.Thalaimutharasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to pursue the alternative remedy of appeal before the Appellate Authority under the disciplinary rules. If such appeal is filed, the Appellate Authority shall consider the same and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such appeal.
4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid observations. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
