ORDER
The writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 11.09.2017 in accordance with the approved plan dated 24.03.2009. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the construction of the building in survey No.194/4 situated at Sivan Sannathi Street, Thirunageshwaram has been completed as per the building plan permit and the same has also been intimated to the respondent on 01.03.2012. However, the respondent has not levied property tax in respect of the building. All the steps taken on the side of the petitioner ended in vain. Though, the petitioner on 11.09.2017 sent a representation with necessary documents requesting the respondent to assess the building and to levy property tax, no steps have been taken by the respondent. the petitioner is before this Court.
3.The learned government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 4.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.09.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the interested parties if any and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
