ORDER

The petitioner wants to hold Kabadi Tournament on 03.11.2017 and 04.11.2017. Earlier, the petitioner wanted to hold on 27.10.2017 and 28.10.2017. The same was rejected by the respondent on 19.10.2017. The same is under challenge in this writ petition.

2.The petitioner after all wants to conduct Kabadi Tournament. The respondent has not referred to any credible material in the impugned order to show that if the said event is conducted, it would give rise to law and order problem. Sport is an integrating feature. The respondent ought to give permission to such events. However, it is open to the respondent to incorporate appropriate conditions to regulate the holding of the event. The petitioner shall strictly adhere to the same.

3.The writ petition is allowed accordingly. The petitioner is permitted to hold the event on 03.11.2017 and 04.11.2017 by adhering the conditions imposed by the respondent.
