The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to issue the patta for the land in Survey No.156/4 situated at Alagankulam Village, Ramanathapuram District within the stipulated time.
2.By consent, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.According to the petitioner, neither civil suit nor rival claim whatsoever is pending in respect of the property in question. Though, the property in Survey No.156/4 situated at Alagakulam Village, Ramanathapuram District, is a poramboke land, the same has been used for cultivation by the petitioner for many years and as such, he is enjoying possession over the same. the petitioner has submitted several representations and finally on 05.09.2017 to the respondents, requesting to issue patta for the aforesaid land. However, the same are kept pending without any action and hence the petitioner has approached this Court for appropriate direction to the respondents.
4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court 5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
