Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide electricity reconnection to the petitioner's house in service No.158-003-125. ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's house in service No.158-003-125. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard both sides.

3.The case of the petitioner is that on the strength of a civil Court decree, the fourth respondent fraudulently mutated the house tax in respect of the portion of the house, belonging to his father and approached the third respondent to disconnect the electricity service connection and accordingly, the same was disconnected. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 26.10.2017, this Court passed an interim order directing the second and third respondents to restore the electricity connection temporarily and also made it clear that the said order is subject to the final decision in the writ petition.

5.Now, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 would submit that electricity service connection is restored to the portion of the petitioner's father.

6.Recording the same, the writ petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the civil Court for appropriate remedy.

No costs.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
