PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action on petitioners representation dated 23.05.2023 under the criminal law by conducting an effecting investigation as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action on petitioners representation dated 23.05.2023 under the criminal law by conducting an effective investigation as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by this petitioner, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, finding that the place of occurrence is Tirunelveli, advising the petitioner to approach the concerned jurisdictional police station, it was closed on 26.05.2023. That was also accepted by the counsel for the petitioner.

3.In view of the above said submissions, let the petitioner workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings before the concerned jurisdictional police.
