Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to commence the construction work in the Sethu Vinayakar Temple situated at Meenikonendal Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District after receiving the construction expenses from the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2017 within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to commence the construction work in the Sethu Vinayakar Temple situated at Meenikonendal Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District after receiving the construction expenses from the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2017.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there were disputes in respect of Sethu Vinayakar Temple and after some round of litigations, the same has been decreed in favour of the petitioner. The construction of the temple has been stalled due to some disputes over there and the petitioner in order to complete the construction work has requested the respondent by representation dated 01.09.2017 to inform him the estimate for the construction and expressed his willingness to bear the same along with the villagers and the representation of the petitioner is kept pending by the respondent. Therefore, the
petitioner is before this Court, seeking appropriate direction to the respondent.
3.The learned Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 4.Under such circumstances, the first respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.09.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
