PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.154 of 2025 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 296(b), 115(2), 133, 308(4) & 351(3) of BNS, in Crime No.154 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners along with other accused, abducted the defacto complainant in a car to a remote place where they indiscriminately attacked him with plastic pipe and chappal and also extorted money for a sum of Rs.4,500/- from the defacto complainant. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that due to previous enmity between the first petitioner and the defacto complainant, the present false complaint lodged against the petitioners. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioners herein are arrayed as Accused Nos.1, 2, 5 and 6 have extorted Rs.4,500/- from the defacto complainant and also assaulted him. He would further submit that 2/4

the first accused is having five previous cases and the second accused is having three previous cases and no previous case is pending against the Accused Nos.5 and

6. He would further submit that the Accused Nos.3 and 4 were already arrested and released on bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and also taking note of the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners at this stage.
