ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to survey the lands in S.Nos. 318/3, 318/5, 318/6A and 318/6B situated at Thandalkaranur, Vaiyampatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 04.09.2017 and 12.09.2017. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that neither civil suit nor rival claim whatsoever is pending in respect of the properties in question. According the learned counsel, the petitioner purchased the subject mentioned properties vide registered sale deed dated 24.09.1979 and patta was also issued in her favour and she has been in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same. The petitioner sent representations to the first respondent on 04.09.2017 and 12.09.2017, requesting to survey the properties and mark the boundaries and also paid necessary charges towards the same. However, the first respondent has not taken any action on the representations of the petitioner. The petitioner, being a senior citizen, having no other https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

alternative remedy, has approached this Court, for appropriate direction to the respondents.

3.The learned Central Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 04.09.2017 and 12.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to all the interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
