Ananthadevi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.1164 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner is a sole accused apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 379 & 430 of I.P.C. and Section 21(1) of Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation), Act, 1957, in Crime No.1164 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner said to have illegally transported 1/4 Unit of river sand using bullock cart. Hence, a case has been registered.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police.

4. In view of the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.13334 of 2020 etc., batch, dated 03.09.2020 by the Principal Bench of this Court at Madras, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
