ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

2. The claim of the petitioner is for payment of Rs.1,50,000/- from his E.P.F.account TN/6929/11531. Since the said claim was not considered by the respondents, the present writ petition came to be filed.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that there is no detail available with regard to the funds lying in the account. However, the authorities would consider the representation dated 13.03.2017 of the petitioner and pay the available amount to the petitioner as claimed by him.

4. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the request made by the petitioner and pay the available funds to the petitioner, after verification of the records, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
