Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 2nd respondent to file the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam, Pudukkottai District in Cr.No.216 of 2020 on the file of the 2nd respondent police within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent herein to complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Court within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.216 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Section 292 of IPC and Section 67 of Information Technology Act, 2000. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that even the case has been registered on 01.06.2020, so far no investigation has been undertaken and no final report has been filed by the 2nd respondent. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the accused is absconding and within two months, investigation will be completed and final report will be filed before the concerned court.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and file a find report before the concerned Court within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.This petition is allowed with the above direction.
