WMP(MD) No.11455 of 2023 (Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.R.Vijayaragavan, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr.R.Pandivel, learned counsel for the respondents - Bank.
2. The present application is filed for extension of time to deposit the amount as directed by this Court under order dated 24.05.2023.
3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant could deposit only Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) as per the order of this Court and could not deposit the remaining Rs.6,50,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) because of the precarious financial condition. Learned counsel submits that the applicant undertakes to deposit the amount as directed by this Court within ten days.
4. The applicant shall deposit Rs.7,50,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) by 30th June, 2023. In case the amount is deposited as directed, then the protection granted by this Court under order dated 24.05.2023 shall continue.
5. The application is disposed of.
