When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the next hearing is 08.08.2019. 12 persons has been listed as witnesses. The offence is under Sections 294(b), 325 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. I am therefore of the view that interest of justice will be served by directing the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam, to conclude the trial on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from 08.08.2019.
2.With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
