Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the Contemnors/respondents for their willful deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.656 of 2020 dated 10.01.2020.

Prayer in WP(MD). 656/ 2020 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay 18 percent interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits of P.F and Gratuity payable to the petitioner from the date of his retirement i.e. 31.03.2019 to till the date of actual payment made to him and all other attendant benefits within the Stipulated Period.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondents for wilfully disobeying the orders passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.656 of 2020 dated 10.01.2020.

Cont.P.(MD)No.1171 of 2021 the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.656 of 2020 dated 10.01.2020 has been complied with. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement in the petition, to that effect.
