The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking notional promotion and arrears of salary.

When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, by referring to a letter dated 15.11.2025, submits that a proposal has been made and the difference of pay has also been paid to the petitioner. The petitioner has endorsed the same to the District Collector, Madurai, by his letter dated 15.11.2025.
