ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to permit payment of the Additional Security Deposit of Rs.6,04,23,717/- in ten equal monthly instalments, along with the regular current consumption charges.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. It is noted that this Court has, in several similar matters, granted time to remit such amounts in instalments. In this regard, the learned counsel for the petitioner placed reliance on the orders of this Court dated 26.05.2021 in W.P.No.12099 of 2021 (M/s.Venkateswara Cotton Mills vs. The 2/6

Chairman, TANGEDCO and others) and dated 28.05.2025 in W.P.No. 19524 of 2025 (M/s.Venkalakshmi Paper and Boards Pvt. Ltd. vs. The Chairman, TANGEDCO and others).

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the aforesaid orders have not been reversed.

5. In light of the above and following the earlier orders of this Court, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, permitting the petitioner to pay the Additional Security Deposit of Rs.6,04,23,717/- in ten

(10) equal monthly instalments. The petitioner shall remit the first instalment on or before 15.05.2026, and the remaining instalments on or before the 15th day of every succeeding month for a period of nine months thereafter.

6. There shall be no order as to costs.
