ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) The writ petition has been filed by the mother of the convict seeking emergency leave for 6 days without escort to her son, viz., Murugan, S/o.Kannan, aged about 48 years, convict No.17351, confined at Central Prison, Trichy. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, states that the request of the petitioner has been rejected by the Superintendent, Central Prison, Trichy, the respondent herein, vide order dated 02.06.2025. He has also produced a copy of the letter before this Court to that effect. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
