ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) Prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to grant ordinary leave of 30 days without escort to the detenue, viz., Marimuthu, S/o.Pandi, aged about 37 years, Convict No.6047, confined at Central Prison, Madurai.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner was already considered by the Prison Authorities vide order dated 10.06.2025 in No.384/c.j.2/2025 and the petitioner has been granted ordinary leave for a period of 21 days with escort, since the life convict is going for the first time.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
