ORDER
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent to survey and demarcate the property at Survey Nos. 1072/2, 1074/1, 1068/2, 1069/2, 1074/3, 1172/1B and a well and pump set at survey No.1172/2A at Vadaveeranayakanpatti village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District. The petitioner had given a representation on 13.05.2023. He had also paid the necessary charges on 27.04.2023.
2. It is stated that the adjacent lands are vested with the Government. A direction is given to the third and fourth respondents to make inspection of the lands in the aforementioned survey numbers, identify the said lands and thereafter also obtain necessary documents for possession / title from the petitioner herein and then proceed to demarcate the land. It would only be appropriate that they do so, since it would also be demarcating the Government lands away from the petitioner herein. So it would be beneficial to both the petitioner and also to the revenue officials. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
