O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband, namely, M.Pandiyarajan, aged about 33 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband, namely, M.Pandiyarajan, aged about 33 years, went missing from 10.05.2025 and that police are not taking effective steps to secure him. 3.

On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, a case in Sivakasi East Police Station Crime No.351 of 2025 was registered for "man missing" on 21.05.2025 and the preliminary enquiry revealed that the detenu has taken away a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- from his father, who is running a Printing Press and absconded.

4. In the aforesaid circumstances, we direct the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sivakasi Division, Virudhunagar District, to supervise the investigation in Crime No.351 of 2025, pending on the file of the second respondent, and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenu is secured, he shall be produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivakasi, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders.

5. With the above direction, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of.
