ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to transfer petitioner's husband from Coimbatore Central Prison to Madurai Central Prison. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The petitioner's husband is a life convict and is undergoing sentence in the Coimbatore Central Prison. The petitioner made a representation dated 05.02.2018 to the respondent 1 and 2 requesting to shift the petitioner's husband from Coimbatore Central Prison.

3. The third respondent has filed status report before this Court where in he has stated that the report has been sought for from the Probation Officer and consent is also being sought from the superintendent of Prison, Madurai and same is pending. Necessary orders will be passed immediately after the receipt of the report.

4. The representation has been pending from the month of February 2018.

5. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to take decision on the representation dated 05.02.2018 made by the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
