ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take necessary action on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2021 with regard to pay the Medical reimbursement of Rs.1,60,000/- with interest. 2.Mrs.D.Farjana Ghousia, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had undergone Neuro surgery at Kaveri Hospital, Trichy and he was treated as in-patient from 30.05.2021 to 03.06.2021. The petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.2,30,000/- towards medical expenses. He further submitted that the 2/6

petitioner is the member of the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2016, and he made a claim for a sum of Rs.2,30,000/-, but only a sum of Rs.70,000/- has been paid to his salary account. He further submitted that the balance medical reimbursement of Rs.1,60,000/- has not been paid. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation on 09.12.2021 to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing this Writ Petition.

4.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioner's representation is considered. 5.It seen from the medical report that petitioner undergone Neuro surgery at Kaveri Hospital, Trichy and he was treated as in-patient from 30.05.2021 to 03.06.2021. He spent a sum of Rs.2,30,000/- towards medical expenses and copies of the bills have been produced to substantiate his claim. However, it is submitted that instead of paying the entire medical expenses spent by him, he was paid only a sum of Rs.70,000/-.

6.Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also the facts narrated above, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 09.12.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
