O R D E R

Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed in W.P. (MD)No.26832 of 2023, this Contempt Petition has been filed. 2.Today, when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of this Court passed in W.P(MD) No.26832 of 2023, dated 08.11.2023 had been considered and G.O(D).No.227, Home (Prison-IV) Department had been passed on 28.02.2024 itself and the same has also been communicated to the detenu Thangapandi, Life Convict Prisoner No.3683 on 13.03.2024.

3.It is further contented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that suppressing the aforesaid particular Government Order, which has been served to the detenu on 13.03.2023, this contempt petition has been filed on 25.06.2024.

4.In view of the above submission, this contempt petition will not lie and the same stands dismissed.
