O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petition mentioned property was the subject matter of an assignment in favour of one Sumathi and that the said assignment has since been cancelled and that therefore, it is not possible to accept the writ petitioner's request.

3. Be that as it may, the second respondent is directed to pass final order on the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law. The petitioner can work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

4. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The second respondent shall put all the interested persons on notice before passing final order. It is open to the second respondent to pass order one way or the other.

5. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
