By consent, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, the subject mentioned property is his ancestral property, whereas, some third parties, creating some forged documents had interfered with the possession and had obtained patta. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner has preferred a revision before the first respondent, which is numbered as Revision No.31220/17/D3 dated 04.10.2017 seeking cancellation of patta. As the same is kept pending, without any action, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking a direction to dispose of his revision.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader, on
instructions, submitted that the authorities are inclined to pass orders on the revision of the petitioner, on merits, within a stipulated time limit.
5. Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the first respondent to pass appropriate orders, on the revision of the petitioner dated 04.10.2017, on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Any other proceedings, in the meanwhile, shall be kept in abeyance.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of and consequently the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
