Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court for issuance of a Writ of Prohibition, prohibiting the Respondents herein, their subordinates, officials, men, agents from in any manner using,
bringing, transporting the School and College students, teachers and parents to the Centenary Celebration of Dr.M.G.Ramachandran proposed to be held on 05.11.2017 at Bodivilakku, Theni, Theni District and in any other place in the State of Tamil Nadu as well as any other public meeting except bona fide sports and school and college related functions free from political interference in the guise of public functions and consequently, forbear the Respondents herein from in any manner erecting banners, flex boards, sign boards, etc., for alive persons. ************* [Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL, J.] Heard the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the Respondents.
2. Counter is filed on behalf of the fourth Respondent.
3. The Learned Counsel for the Petitioner informs this Court that the Writ Petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the present Writ Petition granting liberty to him to file a fresh Writ Petition, in view of the fact that the event/programme is postponed to 09.11.2017. Furthermore, he has made an endorsement to that effect in the Writ Petition papers.
4. Recording the aforesaid fact and the endorsement so made, the present Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty to the Petitioner to file a fresh Writ Petition, if he is so advised, of course, in the manner known to law and in accordance with law. No costs.
