O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. According to the petitioner, the property in question had been wrongly classified as Government poramboke and that patta should be issued in his favour.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that re-classification could be only done by the Commissioner of Land Administration.

4. The petitioner is permitted to give a representation before the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai and 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.14977 OF 2022 the said representation shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said representation.

5. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The fourth respondent shall put all the interested parties on notice before passing final order. It is open to the fourth respondent to pass order one way or the other.
