ORDER
The petitioner has filed W.P.(MD)No.5189 of 2020 to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse interest at the rate of 6% for retirement benefits, gratuity, provident fund and leave salary. This Court by order dated 12.03.2020, has directed the respondents to pay the penal interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the belated payment of the retirement benefits from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the order. Alleging non compliance of the above order, this contempt petition has been filed.
2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent corporation would produce the Letter No.6150/L3/TNSTC/TNV/2020 dated 26.02.2021 of the respondents and stated that the above order of this has been complied with by giving https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
CONT.P(MD)No.957 of 2020 6% interest on the PF amount at Rs.77,544/-, Gratuity amount at Rs.1,36,966/- and E.L amount at Rs.55,761/- to the petitioner. 3.Recording the above submission, this contempt petition is closed.
