This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to take necessary steps on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.04.2022, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's husband namely Nehru was working as Secretary of the third respondent Society and while he was in service, he faced 12 criminal cases and departmental proceedings. He died on 01.01.2021, leaving behind the petitioner and his children. After his death, the petitioner was not paid the terminal benefits of her husband. Therefore, she made a representation to the first respondent on 09.11.2021, followed 2/5
by the representations, dated 06.01.2022, 08.03.2022 and 05.04.2022. Despite the representations have been sent by the petitioner, she was not paid the terminal benefits. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. It is further submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that it is suffice, if this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.04.2022, within a stipulated time.
4. Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents.
5. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the present writ petition, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2022 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
