Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to register the document of Memorandum of Deposit of Title Deeds executed by the petitioner in favour of the Syndicate Bank, Thiruvattar Branch, Kanyakumari District dated 06.10.2017 submitted before the 2nd respondent on 06.10.2017 within the period stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to register the document of Memorandum of Deposit of Title Deeds dated 06.10.2017, executed by the petitioner in favour of the Syndicate Bank, Thiruvattar Branch, Kanyakumari District submitted before the second respondent.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The case of the petitioner is that he has executed Memorandum of Deposit of Title Deeds in favour of the Syndicate

Bank, Thiruvattar Branch on 06.10.2017 as a security to get loan from the said bank and when he presented the same before the second respondent for registration, the second respondent refused to register the same without assigning any reason. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to register the said document.

4.Such being the case, the petitioner is directed to present all the necessary documents along with the proposal of the bank to sanction the loan amount before the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the second respondent shall consider and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
