ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the the case in Crime No.146 of 2019 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Tirunelveli Town Police Station, Tirunelveli City.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that the investigation in Cr.No.146 of 2019 has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10237 of 2019 been completed and final report also filed and the same has been taken cognizance in CC.No.862 of 2020 by the Additional Mahila Court, Tirunelveli. He further submitted that so far five witnesses have been examined.

3.In view of the above submission, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. The petitioners are at liberty to workout their remedy in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
