Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court directing the respondents to settle the petitioner surrender leave salary for 75 days in respect of the years 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016,2016-2017 and 2017-2018 together with interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum payable from the date of retirement to till the date of actual payment.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed W.P.(MD)No.5273 of 2020 to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to settle the petitioner's surrender leave salary for 75 days in respect of the years 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 20162017 and 2017-2018 together with interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum payable from the date of retirement to till the date of actual payment. This Court by order dated 12.03.2020, has directed the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and disburse the eligible surrender leave salary through four equated monthly instalments in the light of the Division Bench judgment in W.A(MD)No.210/2019 dated 04.09.2019. CONT.P(MD)No.928 of 2020 counsel for the respondent corporation would produce the Letter No.6147/L3/TNSTC/TNV/2020 dated 26.02.2021 of the respondents and stated that the above order of this Court has been complied with by giving surrender leave salary to the petitioner in four installments 3.Recording the above submission, this contempt petition is closed.
