The Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to order substituted service of notice to the second respondent in a vernacular language newspaper in the locality, where she resides/last known address, in the second appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also perused the records.

Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is allowed and the petitioner is permitted to effect substituted service for the second respondent by paper publication in Tamil Daily viz., Malai Malar, in Chennai Edition, indicating the date of hearing as 17.06.2026. The publication shall be effected on or before 06.06.2026

4. Post the matter on 17.06.2026.
