P. Kamalam ... Respondent/Petitioner / Plaintiff Prayer: This Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the District Munsif, Kulithalai to dispose of the I.A.No. 577 of 2017 in O.S.No.131 of 2017, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

Aggrieved over the long pendency of an Injunction application, the defendants are before this Court, seeking early disposal of the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Since the case is for a limited relief of early disposal, no notice need be sent to the respondent.

3. According to the petitioners, in I.A.No. 577 of 2017 in O.S.No. 131 of 2017, interim order of status quo was granted. In spite of filing counter, Interim Application has not been disposed of for the past three years.

4. It is well settled that, Injunction Application shall be disposed of within a period of 30 days. Keeping an application for the three years is not justifiable.

5. Therefore, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is given to the learned District Munsif, Kulithalai, to dispose of I.A.No. 577 of 2017 in O.S.No. 131 of 2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
