O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue a Look Out Circular on the passport bearing number J3599876 belonging to Marudhakanmani in accordance with Crime No.857 of 2020, on the file of the third respondent and as requested in the representation to the respondents, dated 09.10.2020.

2. Mr.Srinivasan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner submits that his daughter Marudhakanmani is a Doctor is the only child and the petitioner's daughter was sent 1/3

to China for her education and she has become a doctor and she was engaged with one Dr.Venkatesh. In the meanwhile, according to the petitioner, his daughter eloped with one Ashwin Dhandapani and she had carried away all the jewels that were kept for her marriage (50 sovereigns) and cash Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only). According to the petitioner, the said Ashwin Dhandapani is jobless and is popularly known for seducing innocent girls and ruining their lives. Due to pressure in the family, she is trying to leave the country. He would further submit that he lodged a complaint in order to retrieve the educational loan that was borrowed from various sources, which is pending in Crime No.857 of 2020. Now the petitioner filed the above application to issue look-out circular on the passport bearing No.

J3599876 belonging to Marudhakanmani, in accordance with Crime No.857 of 2020 and hence, he made a representation to the respondents, dated 09.10.2020 and since the same was not considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, she would state that it would be suffice if the petitioner's representation, dated 09.10.2020 shall be considered within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.10.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

6. The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
