Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 31.10.2018 to re-fix his scale of pay in par with junior viz., Smt.C.Mary Alagammal from 01.07.2017 in the light of the proceedings of the 1st respondent re-fixing the salary of Mr.Shibu and Mrs.Helenmary For Petitioners : Mr.P.M.Vishnuvarthanan For Respondents : Mr.S.Srimathy Special Government Pleader

Cont P.(MD).No.1360 of 2020 Therefore, it would not be appropriate to simultaneously adjudicate the contempt petition. Hence, the contempt petition is closed. However, in case, the petitioner is of the view that the disobedience continues, even after the final disposal of the writ appeal itself, if it is in his favour, it is open to him to exercise his rights with regard to such disobedience, in accordance with law.
